teaching you how to walk in the light of god's word
Hebrews 9:12
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
By the blood of Jesus we have obtained His eternal redemption. Redemption means to be liberated from bondage. We have been redeemed from spiritual death, sickness and disease, poverty and lack. Redemption from spiritual death not only means that we have been liberated from the old sin nature and made a new creation, but we have also been liberated from identifying with that old nature.
Our identity (where we find our value and worth) no longer comes from the world but from God. Don’t base your worth on others opinions of you, nor on worldly status, but solely on who you now are as a child of God. We are also redeemed from all sickness and disease. Jesus bore our sickness and carried our pains, and by the stripes of Jesus we were healed. Jesus has paid the price for our healing.
We have also been liberated from poverty and lack, because once you are born again you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus. God is our source and has promised to supply all our need. Psalm 107:2 says let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Daily confess you have been redeemed (liberated) from spiritual death, sickness and disease, poverty and lack, for the Word of God teaches us to hold fast to our confession of faith in what Christ has done for us. Doing so will help you walk in His redemption.
